Hi, my name is Tami Kuehn.  Why do I need a transformation?

Well nine months ago I wiped out on my mountain bike in the Delta Watershed and got 10 stitches in my knee.  That rendered me unable to exercise for a while.  Prior to that injury I had planned to train for the Sea to Summit race as a motivating factor to get me into awesome shape.  By the time I was fully healed and able to train, it was too late.  With that lack of a goal and motivation, I began to get lazy and put regular exercise on the backburner and focused on other areas of my life.  With me, what often goes hand in hand with not exercising is poor eating habits.  Well as you can guess, the combination of the two have put me in the worst shape I’ve ever been in my life.  The other day I was leading worship with the kids at our church and I was out of breath.  I thought, “this is ridiculous!”  All through high school and university, I was involved in sports teams, and had that team or coach to push and motivate me.  Now that I’m in the workforce and don’t have those, I’ve realized I struggle with motivating myself.  This challenge is exactly what I need to rekindle my desire for working out and to bring me to

a fitness level that encourages me and creates in me a desire to maintain it.  What I want to gain from this transformation is to be fit by the summer so I can do the challenging hikes such as the Grouse Grind and the Chief without feeling like I’m going to die.  Of course when you’ve been really fit and you become unfit, vanity always comes into play.  I would love to have the definition in my body that I once had.  I want to decrease my percentage body fat and increase my muscle mass to produce a slim, trim me.  I know my body can get there, it just needs to be pushed.  With your guidance and my determination and perseverance, I know we could create a transformation that would wow even myself.  I am ready to put my all into this and would be so excited if you would choose me as one of the fifty participants.

Gratefully, Tami Kuehn
