We'll it has been 5 days since I have trained with neaghn and I can still feel tender in my hams and glutes, I'm not complaining, thats a good thing. Today I did only 20 min of cardio in the morning, then I did a really tough kick-boxing class. My diet has been good, except I FORGOT MY BREAKFAST!! (

May 13
Today I taught a ball class in the morning, and a cardio kick-box in the evening. I did my own workout in the afternoon. I really hated it. I find legs sooo frustrating. The hack-squat machine was too heavy even without weights. It's hard to explain, I just can't squat properly!
APRIL
JOURNALS
April 30
Wow! What a
beautiful day. I had so much energy. This
morning I went to the track and ran. I did 1
minute sprints, it was really fun. Then I
came home prepared my meals, went to
kick-boxing, then I was off to work. I ate
good today, I could have used a little more
water but it went well. I'm looking forward
to training with Neaghn so I'm going to get
some sleep.
April 29
I had an
awesome workout today, I did lower body,
then 25 minutes on the stair master. To top
it all off my diet was perfect!
April 28
Today I took
advantage of the great weather so I road my
my bike to and from kick boxing this
afternoon. I road pretty fast and it was
about 25 minutes in total. I ate good all
day, except I had a samosa and a coconut
cookie for desert. I went to a pot luck
dinner for my little brothers school. I
don't feel like I got in enough cardio
especially because of my dinner, I was going
to go for a short run but then we got
company! All well. I guess I will just do an
extra day of cardio this week. All weekend I
didn't eat properly. I ate good food, but
not nearly enough. I think I have my
appetite back so I got to get control. My
tummy felt jiggly when I was running in my
warm-up for kick-boxing.
April 22
I guess everyone is wondering where I have
been. My computer was acting up so we got it
repaired. It had slight virus. Anyways, I
have my new program and I will be training
with Neaghn once a week. YEAH!! I like my
new program, I have weight trained twice
since I have gotten it, it seem to be going
good. I did upper body today so I expect to
be soar tomorrow which I like.
April 14
My diet was excellent today!! I had an
awesome cardio workout at the gym, I did 30
min on the treadmill and 20 on the
Stairmaster. I don't think I will do to much
weights this week because I don't want to be
fatigued when I start my new program. I
drank lot of water today which I also really
need to work on.
March 13
I woke up later then usual today so my
meals were a little off. I trained cardio on
the treadmill for 47 min. There was a photo
shoot going on with some of the competitors
from yesterdays show. I got a chance to talk
to a few and got really pumped. I know
everyone is really busy but when things
start settling down I would like some
personal training sessions. Hopefully soon,
I'm really looking forward to it.
April 12
Wow! what a fun day. I went to the body
building competition and it was awesome!!! I
just want to say that everyone from BIM did
excellent! I really admire you ladies. It
really motivated me to get on track. I am
really excited to start my personal training
sessions. That's all I really have to say
today, I am just in awe.
April 10
Today my diet was perfect, except I had
an extra apple after my fitness class. I has
a massage for my lower back this morning, i
feel great. I had an awesome workout too. I
did lower body, then cardio on the treadmill
for 40 min. I feel good.
April 7
Today was my upper body and cardio
workout. I was a little weak on the weights,
but I enjoyed my cardio. I worked out an
hour after I ate, usually it's fine but
today I didn't feel that good. Next time I
will only have a protein shake for
breakfast.
April 1
My diet has been pretty much by the book
today, I feel really good! I trained legs, it
went well. I went up on the lunges weight,
more reps on quad extensions, and more weight
on ham curls. I ran for 30 min out side as
well. Good day, except the robin woke me at 6
this morning.

2
I
went out late on Friday night. I guess my body
wasn’t use to it, or I was around someone
who was sick because on Saturday I woke up
with flu like symptoms. So today I feel really
drained. I have decided to stay home and
recover.
March
3
Today was an early day for me, I worked from 6
to 11 am. It was such a beautiful day, I
went for
4 k run. This evening I trained in kick boxing
for an hour, it was fun and I had good energy.
March
4
I
woke up with a slight pain in my lower back
and glutes. I went to the doctor just to check
it out. She said it is probably nothing
serious maybe just some tight or inflamed
muscles so she referred me to a massage
therapist. I’m the type of person who
doesn’t like things holding me back so I got
a massage appointed right away. After the
massage I felt looser but still a little soar.
In the afternoon I worked and this evening I
taught a cardio kick box class. I took it very
easy.
March
5
Today I feel very frustrated! I rarely get
sick and have never been injured. I want to be
in good condition for when I get my program so
I didn’t work out today. I think I may have
to take it easy from martial arts for a while,
just I until I am completely heeled. I
repeatedly applied heat and ice to my back,
which was prescribed by my doctor. I worked
in the afternoon, came home and had a nice
dinner, and now I am relaxing.

After our
meeting I went to Gators
Gym Gear. I bought 4 liters of egg whites,
a scale, and 4 lbs. of Bioplex nutrition.

15
Today
I trained upper body then did my cardio. This
week I'm on the bike which is not my favorite.
I think the heart rate monitor was wrong
because it jumped around so much. I ate good
all day, I went out for dinner in the evening
but i only had Thai chicken and salad. I did
give in to 2 cookies for dessert.

It
was my day off training today. I prepared my
meals and relaxed.

It
was a great day for me. I trained cardio first
thing this morning. I trained at the gym at my
work, which is quit small. Anyway all the
bikes were taken so I did the stairmaster. I
liked training earlier then usual. I would
like to make a habit of doing my cardio in the
morning, then my weights later in the day.
It's just really hard to get up that early,
but after it feels good. My diet has been by
the book today, I am really proud of my self.

18
I
did my cardio at 8 this morning, it was 22 min
on the bike. Then I did legs on my lunch break
at work. Wow, those lunges are deadly. Instead
of the lying down ham curl machine they have
the sitting up one. My diet has been good all
day except I had a couple spoonfuls of apple
sauce for dessert. It's almost bed time and
I'm a little hungry but I can deal with it.

It
was really busy today at work. It's
because all the kids are out for spring break.
Usually I go to my own gym, but because my
hours are different for the break it is easier
to wok out at work. I did my cardio early the
morning. The bikes were all taken so i did the
stairmaster again. I did my weights on my
lunch break but i had to cut out the last 2
sets cause I was ran out of time. My diet has
been pretty ok. (just a few crackers).

20
I am really tired. Today
I worked an 11 hour shift!!! I did my interval
training on my break. I did the treadmill. It
was harder then last time, i guess because i
feel drained. I was in desperate need of an
energy kick so I had a handful of skiddles. I
was almost falling asleep which is really
dangerous since I'm a lifeguard. If you have
any ideas of food to eat to give you instant
energy let me know incase it happens again.
Anyway I'm off to bed.

Well I haven't wrote in
a while, I have had a really busy weekend.
Looking back, I can see where I had some
trouble. Friday was a good training day, then
I went out for dinner. Saturday I wasn't
prepared to go out for the whole day, so I got
off schedule and was pretty hungry. Sunday was
my lazy day off everything. Today I was an
easy day in kick-boxing, then I did my cardio
later in the afternoon. Now I have to admit I
have been struggling with the sweets. I
haven't been too bad but nothing I'm proud of.
I think it's because on Fridays I go out for
dinner and a small desert. All week long I
have bad stuff out of my system then as soon
as I have a little taste for some reason it's
hard to say no to a bite here and there. So I
think I'm the type of person that takes a mile
if you give an inch, so I will have to say bye
to my Friday nights out.

Today I trained upper
body. I had good energy, I was able to to more
reps on all of my sets. I know I will be sore
tomorrow, but I like that feeling.

25
I woke up extra early
today to do my interval training. I did a 10
min warm up, then 10 intervals. My low was 5.7
- 6.0, and my high was 7.0 - 7.5. I think next
time I will try it on another machine, I guess
my body is adapting because it wasn't as
challenging for me. I will either add an
incline or try the stair master. My diet was
good.

28
Today I did cardio early
in the morning, then I trained lower body in
the afternoon on my lunch break. I went out
for dinner and enjoyed a Thai chicken salad.

Today I don't feel so
great. I have really bad cramps, and no
energy. I took some Tylenol and attempted to
go to the gym but it didn't work out. I made
it through my weights (very week), but after 4
min I just couldn't finish my cardio I felt
like I was going to be sick. This evening I
was really craving chocolate but just couldn't
hold back. Not a good day.

Today I just ran
errands. It was my day off training.

Well spring is in the
air. The past 3 mornings I have been woken up
at the crack of dawn by a robin attacking his
reflection in my bedroom window. Today was my
day off, after everyone left the house I slept
in my parents bed and didn't wake up until
12:30. So my meals have been whacked up. In
the afternoon, I tried interval training on
the stair master, it was really challenging. I
could only do 7 sets.
