April 16
Rough day at work today, I showed up late,
and changes are happening here. I took some
breakfast to my mother this morning as she was
alone, my sister wasn't coming back until
10:00 am. I ended up having to stay and help
her out she wasn't doing well.
My mother is doing allot better this
evening, she seems to be getting her strength
back.
April 15
Took the day off from work today, had lots
of running around to do. Took my daughter in
to get her booster shot, was not looking
forward to it have been putting it off. She
was very brave, didn't even cry. I went to the
gym while she was at school, had a good
workout. Checked on my Mom throughout the day,
she needs some to care for her right now. I
cooked her meal although she didn't each much,
she is feeling really weak and is dropping
everything. It was a tough day, it's really
hard to see her like this. Went for my 2nd
assessment tonight, I've lost 6pds of fat,
gained 4pds muscle. I've cheated and not
gotten to the gym as often as I should, so it
could have been better.
April 14
I was tired today. It was a long day
yesterday up early and went to bed late. My
Mother has terminal cancer and she took a turn
for the worse. My brother took her to
emergency so I was on the phone trying to find
out what was going on. She's in rough shape
right now but she's been here before and has
come back, so we are hoping.
April 13
Today was an early start up at 5:00 am. My
muscles are soar and I did allot of walking
today. As sponsors of the Shaw Mini Sun Run we
were there with entertainment for the kids. We
had a magician/juggler some face
painters/balloon twisters, a hip hop dancer
and jumping castles. My daughter WALKED
(couldn't get her to run) the race, she had a
great time and wants to know when you can go
on the Sun Run again. The weather turned ugly
and I got soaked leaving BC Place. By the time
I got home I was cold and tired and just
wanted to sit in front of the fireplace so
unfortunately I did not make it to the
potluck, hope all had a great time. Congrats
to all that enter the contest.
April 12
Went to the Gym today. Worked legs, arms,
back, chest and shoulders. Have to get to bed
early today, have an early start tomorrow,
have to be at BC Place Stadium to set up for
the Mini Sun Run for 7:00 am tomorrow.
April 10
Went to the Gym last night, Yeah, felt
really good. I am hurting today, my legs and
chest, arms.
April 1
No
good April Fools pranks today. My legs are
really stiff today, but it feels good to be
able to feel your muscles. I have taken the
rest of the week off work YEAH! Will do my
workouts at the gym during the day while my
daughters at school and we'll spend some
quality time together. Gotta get ready for her
birthday party on Saturday.
April 2
It's my daughter's 6th birthday today! Have
the rest of the week off of work, she's in
kindergarten and is in school between 12:00 &
2:30, so after taking her to school went to
Max Muscle for some Cardio, I am still feeling
Monday's workout.
April 3
Didn't get to the gym today. Did some
shopping, picked up stuff for the goodie bags,
ordered a cake, birthday stuff.
April 4
Day before the big 6th birthday party still
gettingh ready.
April 5
Well we were at Crash Crawly's in Coquitlam at
1:30 and what a zoo that was, too many kids, too much noise. I
got my workout in today not at the gym but
chasing 15 kids around Crash Crawly's in tubes
and down slides, it was great fun. We then
had family and friends back to my house for
food and fun, it was a great day, very busy
but great fun.
April 6
Today
was cleaning up after last night. Did get out
and played some Frisbee at the park with my
daughter and the neighborhood kids.
April 7
Back at work again, my eating is going well
but I haven't' been to the gym since last week
Wednesday. Not good, I have been active but I
need to get back to the gym.
April 9
Busy day at work today. We are gearing up for
the Shaw Mini Sun Run, I will be working on
Sunday. We did sight checks at the Stadium
and set up a booth at the Hyatt hotel.

MARCH
JOURNALS
I
spoke with Phyllis today and have been
scheduled for my consultation with John for
MONDAY next week. This means I will be
starting my challenge next week HOORAY!
Was feeling tired today, my daughter has
been sick with one of those nasty flu's that
are going around. She's had a high
fever and bad cough for the last 6 days.
Have lost allot of sleep with her waking up
coughing at night. The only exercise I
have been doing is the stairs at work.
There are 100 steps between between the
floor I work on and the mailroom, so I have
been taking the stairs instead of waiting
for an elevator, usually twice a day up and
down.
Had
a full nights sleep, my daughter is feeling
better and slept through the night.
Did the stairs again today. My
one-hour with John had to be rescheduled.
I'm not going on Monday it's Thursday now,
BUMMER. Oh well get my package just
before the weekend so I can do all my
shopping and be ready to go Monday the
following week. It's been frustrating
the long wait, but there is no reason why I
can't start on my own. I am going to
try and get to the gym this weekend on my
own.
Good
day at work today although I only managed to
do the stairs once today. Have a
birthday party to go to tomorrow. My
friends daughters 6th birthday, should be
fun.

Nothing
too exciting today.
March
13
Met
with John today! It was an
informative, enlightening hour. My
choices to this point have not been good, I
eat out allot, too much fast food and this
in turn will affect my quality of life and
longevity. Life is too precious to
waste it away. This is my motivation
to complete this challenge and learn all I
can.

14
Its
Friday! Not to exciting though, just
did some visiting.
March
15
Went
and picked up all my supplies at Gators Gym
today, Patrick was very helpful.
Followed the plan for breakfast & lunch
and felt really good, but then we went out
for dinner and I felt quite awful
afterwards, I ate too much. Monday
will be the day I stick to the exercise and
eating plan.
March
16
Had
a great breakfast & lunch, I am enjoying
the Protein Shakes with rice milk.
Went to a girlfriends for dinner tonight and
just blew it, but I am ready for Monday.
March
17
I
started my first training session today with
Neaghn. We worked on abs today.
Haven't done those in a long while but will
be doing allot of them from here on.
Did well with the eating thing today, NO
FAST FOOD!

18
I had a bad day today,
there was a full moon and I was feeling it.
Woke up in a foul mood and it continued
throughout the day. All this rain is getting
me down. I had my first training session
with Neaghn last night and we worked on abs,
something I haven't done in a long time and
never enjoyed. They will become a daily
routine so hopefully I will dislike them
less as time goes on. Was feeling my stomach
muscles today, it felt good.

19
Today was a bit
better, didn't get to the gym, just not into
it yet. I can still feel my stomach muscles
today, a bit sore. After work I took my
daughter to Chapters and read her some
books.

22
My friend and I took
the kids today to the Aquarium. I haven't
been there in years, it was allot of fun. We
took public transit and spent a few hours
walking around. It was
cold waiting for that bus.
The SUN was finally
out today and my spirits are feeling better.
March
23
I ate really well
today, I am really enjoying all the food. It
feels good to feed my body healthy food and
it tastes good. Had some friends over for
dinner tonight and I made some grilled sole,
it was delicious. We made some mini pizza's
for the kids. Made an extra one for myself
to take for lunch the next day with spinach,
grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes and soy
cheese, it was good although I am not sure
how well it fits into my meal plan?

24
Feel good today, woke
up early and did my cardio before I got
ready for work. I finally gave up coffee
today, and a headache came on in the
afternoon. Had a cup of green tea to get
some caffeine, it didn't work my headache
wasn't letting up. Had a training session
again tonight, I took some Tylenol before I
left the house and my headache was gone
after the session. We worked legs, shoulders
and abs today. I have not been doing my abs
work, but I WILL MAKE TIME for them EVERY
DAY before bed. And to all of those having
difficulty with the GREENS, I have been
doing them for months and the plain stuff is
AWFUL, I could not stomach it with water I
had to mix it with juice in order to get it
down. I have switched to the flavored stuff
and it's good, it can been taken with just
water. I have tried both the berry and the
tangerine and enjoy them both.

25
I was up early this
morning and did my cardio, I had a headache
again today, not very energetic.
March
26
Feel really good today
no more headaches, have lots of energy.
Worked out with Neaghn again tonight.
Shoulders were still feeling a little bit
soar, legs are better. We worked on arms,
back and abs again tonight. Great workout,
felt really good had lots of energy.

27
Feeling a little stiff
today and I am tired, must be the rain. Went
for a walk tonight and did some visiting. My
daughter has a birthday coming up next week,
I've been planning a party for her. The
invitations are out and I am taking 3 days
off next week to spend with her and getting
ready for her party next week Saturday. She
will be six years old next week Wednesday
April 2nd, almost an April Fools Baby.
Looking forward to having some time off,
hopefully the weather will cooperate.

29
Busy day today, took
my daughter to ballet lesson this morning
and then a birthday party. No cake for me,
fortunately it was chocolate and I am not
big on chocolate cake so it was easy to say
NO. I then met a girl friend for a short
workout after which we went for dinner and
then off we went to Gaters Gym Gear for a
cooking session. It was very informative,
got to try some of the samples Sergio made.
Looking forward to the recipes being posted
on the site.

Quite day today
compared to yesterday. The weather was
awful! Did some housework and prepared some
meals for the following week.

31
It's Monday yet again.
Met the Neaghn at the gym for another work
out session and she worked me HARD today. I
was sweating, soar and TIRED when I left. I
will feel this one tomorrow.
