Why I
Need a Transformation.
Hi! My
name is Lauren and I am 34 years
old. A friend of mine showed me the
advertisement for your 16 week
challenge, and, let’s face it,
anything to do with weight loss
always interests me.
I have
always thought of myself as heavy.
Now when I look at photos taken of
me in my early 20’s I can’t believe
I used to think I was fat. I
constantly say to myself that I
would give anything to look like
that again.
I am
tired of making excuses for myself:
gaining too much weight in my
pregnancies, having an under active
thyroid, being too busy, etc. and so
on. These excuses don’t carry much
weight anymore (pardon the pun) - my
youngest child is five years old, my
thyroid is now fine, and really -
who isn’t busy?
Don’t
get me wrong, I do try - really I
do. And I do lose weight. I just
don’t know why it keeps finding me.
I really
enjoy how I feel when I have lost
weight - happier, more energetic,
confident and younger. I have
tried lots of diets and have come to
the conclusion that they do all work
- but only for a short time. I
need a really good program that will
become a new way of life - not some
fad diet that is unhealthy. I also
believe that a solid support team is
extremely important - and with 49
other entrants going through the
same thing, how much more support
can you get?!
I know
that it won’t be easy - it never
is. I only know that I want to look
and feel better. I know I will
never be 23 again, but that’s no
reason why I shouldn’t be able to
feel like I am.
