Wow,
on Superbowl Sunday I was sitting
with my husband watching the game
and flipping through “The Now”
when I noticed the announcement for
the 16-week challenge. Well I
have to tell you I actually jumped
up and said out loud “this is just
what I need.” I showed the
announcement to my husband and said
I’m going to register first thing
tomorrow and that’s exactly what
I’m doing.
I
believe I’m the perfect candidate
for this challenge. I
represent a huge cross-section of
middle-aged working women who
struggle endlessly to maintain their
health, fitness levels and their
appearance. In essence I
represent “every woman.” I
am 41-years old, work five days a
week and spend two hours a day
commuting: yet like many women I
make the time to work out, to
challenge my body to increase in
strength, endurance and flexibility.
Yet, like so many other women
although I do the work, I have not
yet been able to achieve the results
that I know I am capable of.
Realistically I don’t have a lot
of weight to lose, perhaps 10 – 15
pounds, but it’s that final few
pounds that are the most
challenging. I love a
challenge and the feeling of success
and attainment is awesome both
mentally and physically. I am
prepared to give this challenge
200+%, I am prepared to give this
challenge my all, mentally and
physically - and I will.
I
think you should choose me because
you will get a dedicated, motivated,
hardworking individual who so many,
many other women can relate to.
We’re the women you see everyday,
fairly fit and healthy yet still
sporting that extra 10 that just
won’t budge. I look forward
to the challenge and to achieving
that awesome feeling of success that
one can only achieve through
reaching their goals. Pick me
and for the next 16 weeks and beyond
I’ll pour my energy and enthusiasm
into transforming myself and
demonstrating to all those other
middle-aged, hardworking women that
the battle of the bulge can be won!
