First off, welcome to the Bodies 'N Motion website, and secondly congratulations for wanting to make changes in your life.
John F. Xuereb has been providing personal training and nutritional counseling for over 20 years, and has guided thousands of clients to a healthier, leaner and more positive lifestyle. John has transformed his own life, and this excerpt from an interview tells a story that inspires others:
John is referring to the hellish existence he suffered through for much of his young life. He was born into an environment of violence from which he was removed by social workers within six months; however, their intervention did not lead to peace. John saw 24 foster homes by the age of fourteen, and when he finally did settle into a home it became a place of constant torment for many years. John's foster parents were abusive to each other, and to him.
John's initial interest in bodybuilding was sparked at the age of twelve when he saw the movie 'Hustler' on Muscle Beach.
By the age of 15, John was declared a ward of state and with nothing other than basic financial assistance, he was left to take care of himself. Even as he bagan to experience success as a bodybuilder (winning his first junior title in his teens), his life was spiraling out of control. He had already dropped out of school, then began to take drugs and eventually sold everything he had to support the habit. This is when John had his epiphany.
John went on to earn a high school diploma at the age of 28, after having established himself as a successful athlete and businessman. At the age of 34, after a ten year layoff, he followed the guidelines in his book 'The Complete Mind and Body Transformation' and returned to bodybuilding.
