Welcome to the Bodies 'N Motion
website, and congratulations for
taking the neccessary steps to make
changes in your life.
I am John F. Xuereb... and I have
been providing personal training and
nutritional counseling for over 20 years.  I have guided thousands of clients to a healthier,
leaner and more productive lifestyle. I know where I am going... because I know where
I’ve come from.  Perhaps you have come from a similar position in life?  Through my
experiences, I have transformed my life.  This excerpt from an interview tells a story that
inspires others:
"One of the first fears I knew I had to overcome was fear of success. If you're
afraid of achieving your goals, any goals, you are doomed to live a pretty sad
life. Which is exactly what I did for many years."
I am referring to the hellish existence I endured through for much of youth. I was
born into an environment of violence from which I was removed by social workers
within six months; however, their intervention did not lead to peace. I saw 24 foster
homes by the age of fourteen, and when I finally did settle into a home, it became
a place of constant torment for many years. My foster parents were abusive to
each other, and to me.

"After beating her for a while, he'd get bored and start in on me. When
she'd recover, she'd take a go at me too."
John's initial interest in bodybuilding was sparked at the age of twelve when he saw the movie 'Hustler' on Muscle Beach.
"If I could look like that, I figured it would solve all my problems, that no one
would ever hurt me again."
By the age of 15, I  was declared a ward of court and with nothing other than basic financial assistance, I was left to take
care of myself. Even as I bagan to experience success as a bodybuilder (winning my first junior title as a teen), my life was
still spiraling out of control. I had already dropped out of school, then began to take drugs and eventually sold everything I
owned to support the habit. This is when I had an epiphany.
"I simply realized that what I was doing with my life, to my life, was a waste. I mean, I had been told that I was
nothing, and that I was destined to fail, so I was just doing what everyone always told me I was supposed to do. I
never questioned it, until one day I did. I sat up for 14 hours and wrote the story of my life, but I wrote it with
compassion and hope that had never been shown to me. And I saw that even if it didn't seem like a good life at
any one particular moment, there was already plenty of good stuff to focus on, and there could be more."
I went on to earn a high school diploma at the age of 28, after having established myself as a successful athlete and
businessman. At the age of 34, after a ten year layoff, I followed the guidelines in my book 'The Complete Mind and
Body Transformation' and returned to bodybuilding.
"My motivation is to show others that they can find power in themselves. I live my life as
an example of this simple fact. There is nothing about me that is unique. Every success I
have experienced, is something you can experience too."
